Founder and Head Instructor Fabio Leopoldo
Professor Fabio Leopoldo was born in 1977 in Sao Paolo Brazil.
A 5th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he started training in martial arts as a child but by age 17 had dedicated himself to Jiu Jitsu. Professor Fabio studied directly with some of the original masters of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu including Ryan and Renzo Gracie and Carlos Gracie Junior.
Professor Fabio Leopoldo has won many of the most prestigious titles in Jiu Jitsu and is a 7-time world champion, 7-time Pan American champion, and 3-time Brazilian National Champion. He successfully competed as a professional mixed martial arts fighter in Pancrase in Japan and in the IFL in the US.
Professor Fabio believes that martial arts teach important life skills, and that “with good intentions and hard work you can achieve anything”. He is also a strong believer in the importance of family, and says that he is blessed to be married to his wife Dini and to be the father of two fine boys, Zion and Hayzon.
A proud American citizen, Professor Fabio lives in Ventura County and holds a degree in Business Administration from Paulista University.
